Dr. Sara Harter

Dr. Harter received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry and Master of Public Health from Salus University. Prior to assuming ownership of Blue Ridge Eye Associates, she practiced in VA and SC, where she built a reputation for compassionate care and clinical excellence. She has also led multiple international optometric programs, focusing on curriculum development and implementation, hands-on training for providers, and project management of donor-funded eye health initiatives.

With over 20 years of experience in comprehensive eye care, Dr. Harter brings a passion for patient-centered service and a commitment to helping individuals see and live better.
